The Rotary year began with a ceremonial handover on August 4, 2018, in Masuria at the Potocki Gałkowo Restaurant, in an atmosphere of bygone times – with a visit to Countess Marion Dönhoff's salon.
After the outgoing president, Benjamin Schwägli, presented the key events from the 2017/2018 club year, the duties were handed over to the new board.
The new board consists of:

The traditional club chain was ceremoniously handed over to Dariusz Bujniewicz, the club president for the Rotary year 2018/2019.
Our club member, Alex Heinelt, was honored with the Paul Harris Sapphire Medal for his exceptional commitment to the club's activities.
The new president outlined the topics he would focus on in the new Rotary year:
Continuation of existing club projects:
• Co-financing a scholarship for a student at Viadrina University – together with RC Berlin Mickiewicz
• Supporting the Arche/ARKA project by Łukasz Podolski
• Co-financing the "Joyo-Help me to start" project with RC Mettmann to provide access to education for children from Romania
• Organizing a charity concert to raise funds for the club's charitable activities
• Strengthening club contacts with other Rotary Clubs in Warsaw
• Organizing a club trip to St. Petersburg

September 16-19, 2018: Club meeting with members of the ICC Switzerland-Poland in Warsaw.
September 26, 2018:
School run, jointly organized with the Willy Brandt School. Thanks to the participation of children and sponsors, over 19,000 PLN was raised and transferred via Rotary International for polio vaccinations. The collected amount was enough to fund 14,412 vaccinations.
October 19, 2018:
As part of the club's commitment to the German-Polish Gardens project initiated by our club member Fried Nielsen, a meeting of club members took place at the German-Polish Gardens on the occasion of the opening of the first phase.
November 7, 2018:
Signing of a partnership agreement with the Rotary Club Berlin Mickiewicz.
November 10, 2018:
Clean-up of Bielański Park in collaboration with Rotary Club Warszawa Żoliborz.
November 14, 2018:
The Austrian Ambassador in Warsaw, Werner Almhofer, visited our club.
December 1-7, 2018:
Club members participated in the distribution of Christmas packages in Lviv and its surrounding area as part of the German project "Weihnachtspäckchenkonvoi."
December 12, 2018:
Christmas party at Victorinox. During the meeting, Fried Nielsen, Robert Boroch, and Christian Braunschweig were ceremoniously inducted into our club.
January 16, 2019:
Club meeting at Polonia Aero company.
February 24, 2019:
Our first charity concert, with the Grupa MoCarta as the highlight, an auction of paintings, and a party organized by our club members in the fully booked Świt Cultural Center (350 seats). The concert was held under the patronage of the German, Austrian, and Swiss Embassies, as well as the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation. It raised approximately 40,000 PLN in donations for the club's charitable causes.
March 13, 2019:
The Swiss Ambassador in Warsaw, Juerg Burri, visited our club.
April 3, 2019:
Club visit by the Chairman of Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Marek Dekan.
April 24, 2019:
An Indian district delegation visited our club.
May 16, 2019:
Farewell lecture by our club member Karl Schmidt at the Warsaw School of Economics on the topic "Austria – Germany – Poland: An Unequal Business Triangle."
June 5, 2019:
Our club takes on the honorary patronage of the German-Polish Garden project.
June 15, 2019:
Handing over the presidential duties to the new club president for 2019/2020, Joachim Franke. The ceremony took place at the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation with friends and guests of the club, including a group from the Rotary Club Hamburg-Harburg.
June 19-24, 2019:
Club trip to the White Nights in St. Petersburg.
